This English translation is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the German privacy policy is authoritative.

The following information explains, in accordance with applicable data protection law — in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) — how and why our company processes personal data.

Hosting

This website is operated on the Cloudflare Workers edge platform provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When you access the website, Cloudflare processes technical connection data required to deliver it securely and reliably. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested resource and your browser type. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and efficient operation pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Server log files

Technical access data is stored temporarily in log files to ensure security and stability. It is not combined with other personal data and is deleted once it is no longer required for the stated purpose.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies and integrates no tracking services or externally hosted fonts. We do not create user profiles.

Contact form

When you send us a message through the contact form, we process the information you provide — your name, email address, optional telephone number and message — in order to respond to your enquiry.

The form submission is delivered to us through Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH / Brevo, an email delivery provider). The data you enter is transmitted to Brevo and processed on our behalf for the purpose of delivering the email. We have entered into a data processing agreement with the provider pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

Processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where your enquiry concerns the conclusion of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies. The data is deleted when the conversation has been conclusively completed, unless statutory retention obligations require continued storage.

Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right at any time to:

  • obtain access to your stored personal data (Article 15 GDPR),
  • rectify inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR),
  • request erasure of your data (Article 17 GDPR),
  • restrict processing (Article 18 GDPR),
  • receive data in a portable format (Article 20 GDPR),
  • object to processing (Article 21 GDPR).

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

Data security

All data is transmitted between your browser and our server through a secure, TLS-encrypted connection (HTTPS). We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
