What is your role as a Solution Architect?

As a Solution Architect, I bridge the gap between our clients' business requirements and their technical implementation. I design the overall solution architecture, ensure that it supports the business objectives and keep maintainability, scalability and cost efficiency in view.

What matters most to you when working with clients?

Transparency and clarity. Software development can feel like a black box to many clients, but it does not have to. I make complex relationships easy to understand and work with everyone involved to create a solution they can fully support.

What makes a project successful for you?

A solution is successful when it not only works at launch, but remains stable, can evolve for years and makes daily work easier for the people who use it. That is precisely what our end-to-end approach is designed to achieve.

What is your role as Technical Lead?

As Technical Lead, I define the technologies required to implement a solution. That includes engineering tooling and development workflows as well as the way the application is delivered, operated and continuously updated through CI/CD.

Which platforms do you use to operate your software solutions?

Committing to a single platform would not serve our clients well. We decide on the most appropriate hosting model for each project. Strategic or regulatory requirements may rule out one provider, while another client may prefer an on-premises deployment. We therefore address operations and delivery while requirements are still being defined.

Which technologies have you worked with?

Our backend projects have frequently used Python with Flask, while Django, Node.js and other frameworks have also played an important role. We are not limited to one stack: our engineers are versatile and experienced across a wide range of frameworks and programming languages.
